Based on these experiences, and drawing on practitioner and academic research, we will put forward tangible proposals for gender transformative model national action plan (NAP) commitments to promote women\u2019s meaningful participation in natural resource governance by:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bridging women\u2019s rights and transparency movements;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Addressing the negative impacts of the extractive sector on women through responsive local decision making;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensuring that data is accessible and relevant to a diverse set of stakeholders, including women in extractive communities; and<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Promoting resource allocation approaches that include, and would benefit, women.
