The platform draws together actors from governments, civil society, International organisations, legislators, media, academia and national campaigners to take stock of the current state of play on Illicit Financial Flows agenda in Africa as well as progress made through global, regional and country level initiatives. The conference seeks to also act as a platform to articulate problems, propose solutions and explore opportunities for collaboration and common action.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 2020 edition of the 8th Pan African Conference on Illicit Financial Flows and Taxation (PAC 2020)\u00a0will be hosted by TrustAfrica and organised in collaboration with 17 co-conveners namely\u00a0Global Alliance for Tax Justice (GATJ),\u00a0Tax Justice Network Africa (TJNA), African Union (AU), United Nations Economic Commission on Africa (UNECA), African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF), OXFAM, Action Aid, Integrated Social Development Centre (ISODEC), Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII), African Minerals Development Center (AMDC), Publish What You Pay (PWYP), StopTheBleeding (STB) Consortium, Pan African Lawyers\u2019 Union (PALU), Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD), Centre R\u00e9gional Africain pour le D\u00e9veloppement Endog\u00e8ne et Communautaire (CRADEC), Youth for Tax Justice Network (YTJN) and African Forum and Network on Debt and Development (AFRODAD).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Due to the Covid-19 global health pandemic, this year\u2019s edition of PAC will be a combination of in-country physical events (where possible) as well as virtual breakaway and plenary sessions held under the theme: \u201cThe Africa We Want Post COVID-19: Optimizing Domestic Resource Mobilization from the Extractive Sector for Africa\u2019s Transformation\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Registrations:\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/airtable.com\/shr9rfp5aCYxMcrM3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/airtable.com\/shr9rfp5aCYxMcrM3<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pan Africa Conference on Illicit Financial flows and Taxation is an annual convening that brings together key stakeh<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":7934,"template":"","thematic-area":[110,111],"year":[22],"class_list":["post-7933","event","type-event","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","thematic-area-tax-and-extractives","thematic-area-tax-and-transparency","year-22"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.2 -
