APMDD, Aksi! for Gender, Social, and Environmental Justice, Solidaritas Perempuan, and EURODAD will co-organise the\u00a0CSW65 NGO Virtual Parallel Event entitled \u201cA Tapestry of Women\u2019s Voices Fighting the Multiple Crises\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

The parallel event draws attention to the multiple crises with a strong focus on 1) debt, illicit financial flows, and tax and fiscal policies, 2) the state of climate emergency and urgency of the swift and just transition away from fossil fuel energy, and 3) women in the frontlines of collective action to fight the multiple crises.<\/span><\/p>\n

The online parallel event aims to amplify women\u2019s voices, especially from the Global South, and seeks to weave a \u2018tapestry\u2019 of inter-generational women\u2019s voices, knowledge, wisdom, and creative expressions. We hope to bring together grassroots women activists, women leaders, women parliamentarians and other policy makers, gender activists in the international community for conversation, exchange of analyses and insights, and renewal of commitments to action.<\/span><\/p>\n
