About the event\/Sobre el evento:<\/b>
\n<\/span>The members of the Global Alliance for Tax Justice’s Tax & Gender Working Group will co-organise a parallel event at the 65th session of the United Nations\u00a0Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW65). The speakers will present a bold new feminist taxation framework centring women’s full participation and decision-making, designed to ensure that all tax systems tax women equally in the realisation of\u00a0substantive gender equality. The rollback of women\u2019s rights during the COVID-19 pandemic is losing decades of hard-won progress toward increased gender equality. Feminist perspectives on tax systems also illuminate how fiscal space can be prioritised to fund policies accelerating the attainment of women\u2019s equality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
