El aliado de la Alianza Global por la Justicia Fiscal, Oxfam, acaba de publicar un nuevo reporte titulado \u201cBancos en el exilio\u201d, donde se encontr\u00f3 que los 20 bancos mayores de Europa registran un cuarto de sus beneficios en para\u00edsos fiscales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ofam explica: \u201cEn la Uni\u00f3n Europea, solo hay un sector obligado a hacer p\u00fablicos los beneficios e impuestos que obtiene y paga en cada pa\u00eds: el sector bancario. Esto es resultado de una nueva regulaci\u00f3n adoptada a ra\u00edz de la crisis financiera. De esta manera, desde 2015, todos los bancos que tengan sede en la UE est\u00e1n obligados a informar sobre las operaciones que llevan a cabo. Oxfam ha analizado por primera vez estos nuevos datos, producto de una mayor transparencia, para elaborar el presente informe, que pone de manifiesto en qu\u00e9 medida los 20 bancos principales de la UE hacen uso de los para\u00edsos fiscales, y c\u00f3mo lo hacen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Grandes empresas, incluidos los bancos, llevan mucho tiempo trasladando artificialmente los beneficios obtenidos en pa\u00edses con tipos del impuesto de sociedades m\u00e1s justos hacia pa\u00edses con tipos muy bajos o nulos. Esta estratagema contable para evitar el pago de impuestos est\u00e1 muy extendida y puede observarse en las pr\u00e1cticas de las empresas que registran beneficios muy bajos o incluso p\u00e9rdidas en pa\u00edses con tipos m\u00e1s justos del impuesto.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
