The course is organized by Policy Research Center in cooperation with Partners.
The program of the Summer Course is intended to provide in depth analyses of current taxation issues relevant in the development agenda in different countries and continents. The program will review in detail and will also
provide space for in depth discussions between trainers and participants on the following topics and tax development agendas:
- Mobilization of Domestic Resources,
- Local and Property Taxation,
- Extractive Industry Taxation,
- International Taxation including BEPS project update and EU Tax Developments,
- Transparency Initiatives including public CbCR initiative.
The Course will combine different methods and techniques including – high-level and overview sessions organized in the mornings as well as seminars, workshops and panel discussions in the afternoons on the relevant topics based
on participant’s preferences with the objective to assure the breadth and depth of the program. The topics of afternoon workshops are selected by participants from the list of topics provided during the registration period.
This program is intended for Professionals working in national and international development agencies, NGO’s, journalists, policy advisers, advisers to ministers and members of parliament, policy makers as well as researchers
active in research and development.
