The Global Alliance for Tax Justice (GATJ), in partnership with Nawi and ActionAid, opened registrations for the Tax Justice and Gender Equality Conference 2021, which will take place virtually (via Zoom) from 6 to 8 December 2021, under the theme “Feminist Perspectives and Imagining a New Taxation System”.
This is a joint initiative of the members of GATJ’s Tax and Gender Working Group, aiming to create a space to share, discuss and develop alternative perspectives to establish a sustainable feminist taxation and economic system for the realisation of substantive gender equality and women’s rights.
Throughout the three days of the online conference, there will be around 20 events (panel discussions, workshops etc.), which are free of charge and open to anyone.
