Oxfam is planning to launch a report, titled “Taxing for a more equal Kenya”. The launch will be held on 6th December 2017 from 07.30am to 11:00am at the Sarova Stanley Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.
The report focuses on how the tax system can effectively be applied to address economic, income and gender inequality. Specifically, it analyses the tax system in Kenya and the extent to which taxation and fiscal policy can be used to address inequality in Kenya and proposes a 5-point Action plan to do so.
