“The Campaigners Conference (CC) is one of the flagship joint actions of the EC funded Tax Justice Together project, a space for civil society organizations campaigning for tax justice to get together, learn and inspire each other by exchanging experiences, strengthen their campaigning skills, look forward and explore common strategies to achieve tax justice. It will be held in Warsaw, Poland, on the 22nd and 23rd of November 2016, hosted by the Institute of Global Responsibility –IGO and the Tax Justice Together Project.
The conference is targeted at civil society organisations that are part of the Tax Justice Together project and/or part of the broader movement of organisations working on tax justice. Different organisations and attendees will have different experiences of campaigning on this issue, so there will be a breadth of knowledge in the room. This variety will definitely help participants and their organizations in boosting their creativity, looking forward and planning what to do next as a global movement to achieve tax justice.
The Tax Justice Conference offers up to 7 spaces for participants coming from organizations campaigning for tax justice outside the Tax Justice Together project, provided that these organizations can cover the travel, ground travel and accommodation expenses of their participants for these days. Participants’ profiles can be decided by each organization in light of the programme.
If your organization is interested in participating, please let us know as soon as possible by completing the registration form and returning it to Eva Garzón [email protected] no later than Tuesday the 1st of November. Selection will be made in a first-come first-served basis.”
