In an initiative led by Oxfam Intermon, the new Spanish Plataforma para la justicia fiscal and the Catalan Plataforma per una Fiscalitat Justa, Ambiental i Solidaria, Spanish Tax Justice activists took to the streets in more than 20 Spanish cities to demand Tax Havens Free Zones, stating “We want our municipalities only sign procurement contracts with companies that do not evade taxes in tax havens”.
