Call for consultants: Tax treaty research and report writing

ActionAid International is looking to commission a report on revenue losses due to taxing right limitations in tax treaties. The report will primarily present existing case-studies in a compelling and accessible manner, but a limited amount of new estimates will also be generated. “We believe, ActionAid says, that two separate skillsets will be required to complete this assignment. We are therefore looking for two consultants to support this report production, working mainly between mid-August to late September 2017″:

  • Consultant 1 will focus on the generation of new tax losses facts. The purpose of this research to generate new/updated figures of how much revenue developing countries are losing due to unfair tax deals between rich and poor countries.
  • Consultant 2 will focus writing up current and new facts in a compelling manner in a way which is accessible to commentators and activists. The facts should be presented visually wherever possible.

The deadline for applications is August 4th, 2017 at 5pm GMT.
