Eva Joly: “Europe can win the cultural battle on corporate tax”

Ahead of next week’s events organized by the Independent Commission for the Reform of International Corporate Taxation (ICRICT), one of its commissioners, French member of European Parliament Eva Joly just published an op-ed in Mediapart, titled “Europe can win the cultural battle on corporate tax”.

“A taboo is falling, Joly says, within the European Union. By attacking digital multinationals in order to demand that they pay the taxes corresponding to their activity, the finance ministers of France, Germany, Italy and Spain are speeding up the debate on European corporate taxation”.
