Tax Justice and Feminist Economics: GATJ at the 34th IAFFE Conference

From July 9th to 11th, the Global Alliance for Tax Justice (GATJ) will be participating in the 34th Annual International Association for Feminist Economics (IAFFE) Conference. Learn more about the events that GATJ will be speaking at and organising below:

July 8th | Building Feminist Movements on Tax Justice for a Gender-Transformative, Climate-Just Economy and a UN Tax Convention

Building on discussions held at the 33rd IAFFE conference in Amherst and previously in Rome, as well as smaller strategy sessions early in 2026 among IAFFE members, feminist civil society and tax experts, including the Tax and Gender Working Group led by the Global Alliance for Tax Justice, this all-day pre-conference workshop will engage the IAFFE community in a strategic discussion on tax and gender equality (including connections to climate action), in light of the ongoing negotiations towards the UN Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation.
