Global Alliance for Tax Justice’s regional network member in Asia TAFJA (Tax and Fiscal Justice Asia) was one of several civil society organisations that recently wrote to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) on the urgent need to adopt the mandate of curbing illicit financial flows.

This letter, which was sent ahead of the High-level Dialogue on Inequality at the 74th Session (May 11-16, 2018), can be found here.

The effort was led by the Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability – CBGA India, also a TAFJA member.

You can follow TAFJA’s work on their Facebook page.
