The Tax Justice Network Africa (TJNA) and the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) announced the 11th Pan-African Conference on Illicit Financial Flows and Taxation (PAC 2023), to be held in Accra, Ghana from 22 to 24 of November 2023. This year’s theme is “Making Global Tax Governance Work for Africa”.

The 11th edition of PAC 2023 will bring together tax justice stakeholders, civil society organisations (CSOs) and policymakers to explore ways African countries can take the lead on international conversations that are beginning to have implications on African efforts to engage in domestic resource mobilisation and curb illicit financial flows from the continent. The event will be held in both English and French.

PAC is an annual event coordinated by TJNA in collaboration with its partners, the event facilitates alignment and collaboration among African civil society organisations (CSO), pan-African institutions, and government agencies. PAC brings together researchers and academics to take stock of the success and challenges in the continent’s domestic resource mobilisation (DRM) efforts and to provide solid evidence that CSOs and other stakeholders can use to support their ongoing tax policy and advocacy work.

To attend the event, interested participants are requested to visit the PAC 2023 registration portal and register by 31 October 2023.
